2 Quick Apply Part-time 1 day ago Full Job Description Foodland Super Market, Hawaii's largest locally owned grocery retailer is hiring for General Merchandise (GM) Clerks to join our team! This is an hourly position and we offer a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification).
General Merchandise Clerks are responsible for but not limited to the below:
to make sure the general merchandise section of the store is well-stocked for our customers.
General merchandise products include but are not limited to, health and beauty products, over-the-counter medicines, candy, magazines, tourist items, and seasonal merchandise.
They order, receive, store, and stock products while ensuring proper inventory control, product rotation and quality.
They create and build product displays, ensure proper fronting of products, and handle product damages and credits according to company policy.
General merchandise clerks must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers in locating items.
In addition, they must be able to perform all duties of a cashier as needed Qualifications and requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver, and/or carry up to 50 pounds at, above and below waist level Must pass written, multiple choice math test Must have TB Clearance Must comply with all company policies and requirements including COVID-19 related protocols such as daily wellness checks and wearing a face mask while at work To apply, please attach your resume to this posting.
